Awesome tracts! Very life-like! These are our family’s favorite tracts! We love to see people think that they are real!
My favorite tract, when I can afford it. People always pick it up. It is difficult to throw from the car window. And I’ve watched people pick it up and not know what to do with it and think it’s just fake wallet and true it away. Do now I’ve begun to open and bend the crease so it holds the inside open naturally so they will see to look inside at the message. I even write: “open for message”, on the inside with an arrow. I wish the back was a little heavier so as to throw it into walking paths and that it was more obvious that it opens up twice for the message.
I left it in an elevator once, at my PT, office. When I came back the Christian PT got into a conversation with me about tracts and I told him about this tract. He asked if I had left one in the elevator. “Ya, I said”. He explained to me that someone in the building found it and thought that it was a bomb, that all kinds of emergency vehicles where deployed and a big scene was made over it. Unbelievable! But hey- I think it got fully opened, examined and read by many people and they probably still talk about it. I know my PT couldn’t believe it, wondered what it was, asked for one he could read and probably shared it with others. I think he could be a false convert, so now he has heard the real gospel.
When I saw the wallet track I tried to examine some of the emotions of finding a real money filled lost wallet a person could experience. Excitement? Adrenalin? Happiness? Concern for the one who lost it? Nervousness looking to see who lost it? I don’t know, but a righteous person could or should (imho) only laugh a bit. But a sinner? Ready to pick it up and run? If that was you, then maybe you deserve to be disappointed, but not disappointed that it isn’t real, you should be disappointed in yourself! And I think that is the point, self examination through the eyes of God. I also put the million dollar bill in ATM machines for the same reaction. When the next person counts their $20’s then sees an extra large bill!? Same emotions, the paper may be worthless but the message on back is divinely priceless!
The wallet tract you have to love this one! Have not used this one for years, just purchased a 100 pack and forgot how easy and fun The Wallet can be. Great for having a day when you don’t have time to verbally share the gospel, just drop it and roll. The Personality Analysis is a great way to examine yourself, then transition into the good news of Jesus Christ. Thank you LW’s for always using the Law first then grace in your tracts, their can be no good news if their is no bad news.
Later after the event I checked to see if they were found not one was left! They were all taken by someone! I’m not gonna know until I get to heaven if they work but it’s worth a shot.
I’ve been purchasing your wallet tract for years…I’ve gotten many comments where people will tell me years later that they still have that wallet. Or men will keep it on them. I’m not saying keeping it means they’re saved, but it certainly made an impact! The Word does not return void. Please don’t ever discontinue that one (in my opinion). I think it’s catchy to read cause of the way it’s presented and it’s large print! Sometimes the smaller print is more difficult to read, especially as we get older! Thank you and God bless!
I have been dropping these everywhere. My mother was a strong Christian woman who recently passed away. I have been giving tracts away in honor of her.
I first thought these were silly…after all, anyone could tell by looking at them that they’re not a real wallet. Then I took the time to read what was on the inside, and I’ve since grown to love them. I’ve been dropping them everywhere. Sure, people know they’re not a real wallet, but they still pick them up.
My personal favorite tract if I am just going to leave it somewhere. It always gets picked up.
